Fundraisers
|
Through our fundraisers, we raise money to help
our club serve our local community, King George,
Virginia, and also our state, national, and
international communities. In fact, 100% of the
profit from our fundraisers is returned to the
community through our service
projects. Below, you will find the fundraisers
that we use to raise money to serve our community.
Your support is gratefully appreciated, and in fact
through it you are a part of the service that we
are able to provide. If you would like more

Fundraisers
|
|
Citrus Fruit and Nut Sales
|
Every November and December of each year we sell
citrus fruit, Georgia pecans (shelled halves), and
Virginia Gourmet peanuts.

Race for Vision Hare Scramble
|
We sponsor the "Race for Vision", which is a
Hare Scramble motorcycle race held in late Summer,
This is in conjunction with VCHSS.

Spring Fling
|
Every April we hold our annual Spring Fling.
This is a fundraiser and also a service project. It
includes a yard sale, sight screenings, hearing
screenings, diabetes screenings, and more.

Yard Sales
|
Several times a year we hold yard sales in front
of the Dahlgren Rescue Squad building located on
State Route 3 in King George.
|
|
Grants and Business Donations
|
We actively pursue grants and business donations
to help raise money and/or supplies for our service
projects.
